Nigerian tweeps created a trend on twitter to commemorate Veteran actor Olu Jacobs’ 80th birthday.
The trend on twitter started after Olu Jacobs’ wife Joke Silva, posted a photo of the actor in his 20s while hinting his birthday which is on July 11th. Various celebrities also celebrated the actor on their social media accounts, leading many Nigerians to recount their memories from watching his movies and appreciating him.
Pete Edochie Edochie posted, “When I started my acting career in 2005, one of my biggest wishes was to be on set with the Legendary Uncle Olu Jacobs. I finally got that opportunity many times and I learnt so much from him. And I’ll forever be grateful.
