Busi Lurayi was a South African actress best known for acting Phumzile in SABC1 sitcom ‘City Ses’la’ and the spin-off series ‘Ses’Top La.’ Her popularity grew more after appearing in the first two seasons of a Netflix series, ‘How to Ruin Christmas: The Wedding and How to Ruin Christmas: The Funeral.’
The actress was said to be found dead at her residence on Sunday 10th July, which was also confirmed by Netflix South Africa on Monday via their instagram page.
The cause of her death is still unknown as her family awaits the results of the autopsy report. Her family also ask for privacy during this tragic moment, as they come to terms with her passing.
