
Jumoke Odetola, a Nollywood actress, has announced her new movie, Trap. The movie will address drug abuse, relapse management, addiction, and rehabilitation.
The movie will premiere on June 25, 2022. In addition, it will mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which will be celebrated on June 26, 2021.
The actress, in a video she shared on her Instagram page @jumokeodetola expressed her excitement about the movie.
Further, she mentioned that NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency), UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), and MTN, partnered with her production company, Jeyten Productions, for the project.
At the press conference where she unveiled the movie, Odetola said, “People may not understand or even listen to others when they talk. But when they watch us do what we do. The people naturally want to copy. This is the inspiration behind this. We want to impact lives in the most effective way we can.” She said this to highlight the roles of celebrities in the society.
Trap will feature Korede Bello, Lepacious Bose, Jimmy Odukoya, GT Da Guitarman, Odetola herself, and many others.
