#EndSARS: Lagos state judicial panel has released the full list of victims of Lekki tollgate massacre
The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry into the October 20, 2020 shooting of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Tollgate has released the full list of victims.
The Lagos State Judicial Panel on #EndSARS, on Monday, submitted its report to the Lagos State Government. They confirmed there was indeed a massacre at Lekki Toll Gate on 20 October 2020, contrary to the official narrative debunking it.
A report made by PUNCH stated that the list of names was contained in the report submitted by the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS-related Abuses and Other Matters obtained by a PUNCH correspondent on Monday.
The panel, in its 309-page report submitted to the governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu listed 48 names as casualties of the incident. Of the 48 causalities, 24 sustained gunshot injuries, while 15 others were assaulted by soldiers deployed to the Lekki tollgate.
